The Goldenwrench Supply BLACKLINE Taillight Overlay Kit for BMW 2 Series (F22/F87) models is designed to give Pre-LCI vehicles a sleek, modern appearance that complements contemporary BMW styling. Suitable for most 2014–2017 BMW 2 Series models, including base variants such as the 228i, M235i, and M2, this kit enhances the rear lighting design without overpowering the factory look.
The overlays feature a dark smoked finish inspired by the design cues found on newer BMW models. A lighter “Lite” option is also available for those who prefer a more subtle appearance compared to the standard BLACKLINE version. Please note that this overlay kit is designed to cover only the reverse signal indicator areas and does not cover the entire taillight assembly.
Manufactured from high-grade, pliable 3.2 mil outdoor vinyl—approximately 1mm thicker than most generic vinyl options—the overlays are computer-cut for precise fitment. The flexible vinyl and adhesive allow for easy repositioning during installation, making the process forgiving and suitable for home application. Each kit includes a translucent top application layer to assist with accurate alignment and a protective backing layer to ensure optimal adhesion.
