Designed as a high-flow upgrade over the factory intake system, this kit significantly improves airflow to the turbocharger, enhancing engine response, power delivery, and induction sound across the rev range.
The system features a single-piece, mandrel-bent aluminium intake pipe that provides a smooth and unrestricted airflow path, eliminating turbulence found in the factory setup. A dual-entry cotton gauze air filter delivers excellent filtration while producing a deep, aggressive induction note under acceleration. To manage intake temperatures, the kit retains the OEM cold air feed and uses the MMX lower base as an effective heat shield surrounding the filter.
Built with performance and longevity in mind, the intake is finished in durable anodised black and mounted using CNC-machined billet aluminium brackets with rubber isolators to minimise vibration and noise. Installation is quick and fully reversible, requiring no cutting or permanent modifications.
