MMX BMW N55 Oil Catch Can Kit has been engineered for N55 owners who want to ensure their engines are running at optimum performance by removing unwanted oil from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system before it can be recirculated back into the intake.

Higher mileage engines, and those that utilise direct injection in particular, are known to suffer from sludge and carbon build-up on the backs of the inlet valves. By removing these deposits through the catch can’s internal filtration and separation process, the intake air contains less oil and a higher ratio of oxygen is burned. The result is a cleaner, more reliable, and better-performing engine.

Checking the oil level is simple thanks to the integrated dipstick. A cap-head bolt located in the lower section of the catch can allows for easy draining, or alternatively, the lower section can be unscrewed and removed entirely for maintenance.
