Crafted from ultra-lightweight, high-grade titanium, the Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust system for the BMW M2 F87 offers a significant reduction in overall vehicle weight, helping to improve balance and handling. Finished to Akrapovič’s renowned standards and fully ECE-approved, this exhaust has been developed to maximise the performance potential of the M2’s TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, delivering increased power consistently throughout the rev range.
Unlike the factory single-pipe configuration, this system features a dual-pipe layout running from the downpipe to the rear muffler. This optimised design allows for smoother and more efficient exhaust gas flow, contributing to improved engine efficiency and a noticeable performance gain. Carefully engineered routing and shaping ensure optimal flow while maintaining excellent fitment.
Sound performance has also been carefully refined. Akrapovič’s engineers have tuned the system to produce a sharper, higher-pitched exhaust note at higher engine speeds, delivering an authentic motorsport-inspired character. At lower revs, the exhaust remains smooth and refined, making it well suited to everyday driving. When the engine is pushed harder and the valves remain fully open, the system reveals an aggressive and engaging racing tone that highlights the M2’s performance credentials.
Designed as a straightforward plug-and-play upgrade, the Evolution Line exhaust is easy to install and delivers immediate benefits in both performance and driving enjoyment. Carbon fibre tailpipes complete the system, adding a distinctive visual enhancement to the rear of the BMW M2. Additional performance gains can be achieved with optional downpipes, available with or without catalytic converters, while optional accessories are also available to further enhance the system’s appearance.
