Constructed from high-quality stainless steel and equipped with a sporty catalytic converter, this Akrapovič downpipe is designed to deliver a noticeable performance and sound upgrade without the need for ECU remapping. The integrated catalytic converter is type-approved to meet ECE regulations, making this downpipe suitable for road use when installed as specified.
When paired with the Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system, this downpipe completes a fully ECE-compliant exhaust setup, running from the downpipe through to the tailpipes. The high-flow design improves exhaust gas efficiency while enhancing sound characteristics, producing a sharper, motorsport-inspired tone with excellent feedback at higher engine speeds. Importantly, the system has been engineered to avoid unwanted drone, ensuring comfort is maintained during everyday driving.
Vehicles fitted with Akrapovič exhaust components benefit from improved performance and increased throttle responsiveness. Noticeable gains in power and torque are achieved across the entire rev range, enhancing overall drivability. All Akrapovič exhaust systems and components are developed and measured using computer-controlled flowbench testing to ensure optimal performance.
