MMX Performance front brake disc upgrades are engineered as a direct replacement for the factory front rotors and are supplied as a matched left and right pair of two-piece floating discs. Each disc is lighter than the OEM equivalent and features significantly larger, more efficient directional cooling vanes to promote even heat distribution, consistent pad wear, and improved cooling performance under demanding braking conditions.

Developed specifically for the BMW F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 platforms, these 380mm front discs feature precision-machined grooves that enhance thermal control and help reduce the risk of warping or cracking during repeated heavy braking. This makes them ideally suited for fast-road driving and track-focused use, addressing the primary limitation of the otherwise capable factory 6-piston front brake caliper setup.

SUPERIOR BRAKE DISC DESIGN

The two-piece 380mm x 30mm floating construction allows the friction ring and aluminium centre hat to expand independently both radially and axially as temperatures rise, significantly reducing stress compared to single-piece discs. This design minimises the risk of distortion or cracking while extending overall service life. MMX’s signature grooved friction surface improves initial bite, efficiently clears pad debris, and delivers a refined balance between braking performance, feel, and longevity.
